Brian Grazer Is the New Oscars Co-Producer

It was rumored previously that producer Brian Grazer it to replace Tower Heist director Brett Ratner as co-producer for the Academy Awards. The TV personality had also quitted from his position, after the response to his use of a gay slur, at a screening of his film.

On late Wednesday, this rumor has finally confirmed. Brian Grazer released an official statement that he had been hired to work with Don Mischer, a veteran TV producer, on the telecast. Brian Grazer said that it is very gratifying to be part of show that honors excellence in the medium where he had devoted so much of his career.
